Wednesday night’s Flyover People book launch at Emporia’s Town Crier Bookstore was a flying success! There was a constant steady stream of people for an hour and a half – many I knew, some I met for the first time.  Not everyone is pictured here, but this is a sampling. It was a wonderful night in my life and I thank everyone for showing up.

The staff at Town Crier is incredible. They support local authors, buy and sell their books, put on events like mine and like this humongous event. (In the above photo, that’s Jessica, Becky and Marla behind the counter.)

They had to keep restocking my table. It was a very good night.

  1. Seeing all the people lined up for your book reminded me of my author signing at the Town Crier. Unfortunately, they were all lined up to see Don Coldsmith, who was sitting next to me! Glad to see such an excellent turnout. I love your book.
