The water is up and it’s muddy in the Cottonwood River as it flows past the old Drinkwater and Schriver Mill in Cedar Point in Chase County.

  1. How sad. So many historic buildings get torn down, or some just fall to ruin. It takes some real deep pockets to save them, and in today’s economy people are unable to donate as much as they might once have.

We are losing what little is left of the theater in Madison soon. But it was so neglected for so long that all that was left finally were the outside walls. It’s such a shame it’s been lost. The old ice plant, a great old building, was torn down about 7 or so years ago here.
