The new Kansas Wetlands Education Center at Cheyenne Bottoms (Barton County) provides information on the history and the value of the wetlands.

The KWEC is located on K-156 between Claflin and Great Bend – and if you’re at all interested in birds, nature, wetlands, hunting, etc., this center that opened about a year ago is absolutely a fascinating place.
