Went to the car wash today and unsalted my car.
Put in $5 in the coin changer. Included in the 20 quarters, I received one Kansas quarter and one Bicentennial quarter – woo-hoo. Saved ’em both. Remember 1976? Everything was Bicentennial this and Bicentennial that.
Today was in the 40s and looky at that pretty blue sky!
I remember 1976. The Spirit Train went through Strong City and I laid a nickel on the track so the train could smash it….wonder what happened to that nickel?
