Newsman Tom Brokaw visited Emporia on Aug. 30 for his documentary “American Character Along Highway 50.” That documentary is scheduled for USA in January, but Brokaw has drawn individual stories from his interviews to use on other shows.
All segments air tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 7: 6:25 a.m. Morning Joe on MSNBC;
8:05 a.m. Today Show on NBC;
between 5:30 and 6 p.m. NBC Nightly News.
Last week’s scheduled broadcast of the Emporia visit was postponed for breaking news.
It was a different segment that aired this morning from the one last week.
On morning joe? I just found the clip from the Today show, but it was the same clip.
Morning Joe had a clip with different images of the Gazette and part of a visit with Mayor Longbine.
The one that I saw on NBC nightly news was a re-edited version of the USA dispatch. Roger, do you know if there is a clip somewhere of the Morning joe clip? I haven’t seen the Longbine interview.
