I really like “Sunflower Accelerating” for its composition and warm palette.
My IE crashed and now I’m logged out. Gotta figure out how to log in again.
The one, Sunflower Unfolding grabbed my heart. I want to hug that flower.
What grabs me about an awful lot of Dave’s work is how he gets so much feeling into either inanimate objects or plants, etc. That sunflower unfolding seemed to have human emotions in it, I could *feel* that picture. His Sunflower Accelerating did too. That was a sunflower with ambition and a real go getter, but somehow vulnerable too.
The twigs one, awesome. Well, I could go on, but I’ll stop.
Dave has a true gift in his chosen art.
