  1. Are those actual, usable bathrooms? Or are they old fashioned outhouses, not for use, but for an old-time display? Or maybe just dressing rooms when you try on clothing from a really teeny, tiny clothing store?

  2. This outhouse stands behind a one-room school, now a museum, at the edge of the business district. (Part of a 4-building museum district, counting the motorcycle museum up the street.)

Personally speaking, one glorious thing about Marquette is that they had a set of modern, clean, public restrooms just off Main Street. And they were open at 9 a.m. on a Sunday morning. So, yay, Marquette!

Tom, the door size hadn’t registered with me until you mentioned it, but I’m sure it was just a carpenter’s error. 🙂

  3. That’s something all towns, big or small, who hope to attract visitors should have, clean, public restrooms that are open every day, 7 days a week, 365 – 366 days a year.
