This Saturday, April 25, is Junior Ranger Day at the Tallgrass Preserve, 9 a.m. – 12 noon.

It was always free to visit the park, but this year, to help folks out, they’ve eliminated even the bus-tour fee.
Badger, the horse, always helps out with Junior Ranger Day.

| Fun-filled day of Junior Ranger activities, including a Leave No Trace scavenger hunt. Earn a Junior Ranger badge, patch, and certificate from real park rangers. Program is from 9 a.m. until 12 noon with a special Jr. Ranger awards ceremony at 10:30 a.m. in the historic barn.Many fun and educational activities will be on hand to celebrate Junior Ranger day at the preserve. |
