There is a 10,000 Villages here in Richmond, VA where I live, and I recommend them. We have bought many gifts, decorations and even toys. Their things are quality, hand-made, and the artisans get the money for their work. The things I’ve bought even had the name of the country they come from. Neat Stuff! (Sorry, I sound like a commercial)
They also have a great thrift store to the South of this store!!!!
They used to have a store in northwest Wichita. The kids and I would go there all the time just to look around. Sometimes we even bought things, but it was just so hard to choose, and I never had enough money to buy one of everything. I really miss that store. I think they have a website so you can buy online, too.
I became acquainted with this group/business at the annual Mennonite Central Committee auction on the state fairgrounds and bought a number of items from them there.
I’ll add a link to their website. http://www.tenthousandvillages.com/
I think I was at the one in Hutchinson (?) a few years back. I bought stuff too for gifts and still have a few pieces.
