One of the coolest, sleekest buildings now in Greensburg is the 547 Art Center (547 = May 4, 2007).
It was built by architectural students from KU. Some of the structure includes salvaged materials from an abandoned building at the Sunflower Army Ammunitions plant in DeSoto. It’s an interesting story and you can read more about this first LEED Platinum building in Kansas.
