Kansas Public Radio will offer live, anchored coverage of local and national elections from the KPR newsroom and National Public Radio.

Beginning at 7 p.m. today, KPR News Director J. Schafer and Statehouse Reporter Joseph DiNitto will host Kansas election coverage with results from U.S. House and Senate races, Kansas Board of Education and regional contests.

In addition to results, KPR will offer experts’ analysis and opinions about the races and their statewide and national implications. KU Journalism professor David Guth will join the KPR news team for analysis.

You can listen to all of KPR’s election coverage online, at kpr.ku.edu.

KPR coverage will supplement national coverage by NPR. Throughout the night, on-air and online, NPR will cover all major national and regional results, updating its interactive election map at npr.org as states are called; carry major candidates’ speeches; and provide political analysis and reaction.
