We finally have a farmers market!!! I went to the opening on Thursday night. No tomatoes by the time I got there. Darn! But I did get some corn to take to Amy’s. I bought tomatoes from someone the other day but was very sadly disappointed in them. They were obviously imports, hydroponics or something. No taste! I should have known, the skins were too smooth and slick. I was just so excited about tomatoes I didn’t take time to really look at or feel them. Garnett’s Farmers Market is every Thursday eve, 4:30 to 7:00, and I work Thursday eves. Just my luck!
