Navarre, an unincorporated community in Dickinson County, has a nice-looking elevator.
Dropped in on Navarre on Saturday. It’s the hometown of Kansas writer Roy Bird, who is also the director for the Kansas Center for the Book.
Munchie’s & More – is a small town convenience store/cafe. No gasoline for sale here though.
The former school building is being used by the Lions Club and the Senior Citizens.
I didn’t even know/remember that there was a school at Navarre! And, I’ve been through Navarre about a billion (well, maybe only a million) times.
