I don’t remember how many years they’ve been working on this (it seems like forever), but construction continues at the junction of the Kansas Turnpike, I-35 and US 50.
The only way to get on or off the turnpike in Emporia now is via I-35.
Taking US 50 out of Emporia won’t get you there!
