I miss that church. It changes inside seasonally, due to the stained glass windows and the Sun. That alone is amazing.
It was a good church to be part of. There are ministries and anyone who wants to get involved pretty much can.
I haven’t been inside since the fire and the rebuilding of the inside. But there are pictures at their site. You can see the changes by going to this link and by clicking on “tour”.
I hadn’t been in the church for years, but was in this fall for a rosary & funeral and the interior (the post-fire repainting) is beautiful, just gorgeous.
There used to be three priests assigned to Sacred Heart – back in the ’80s. Must be a lot of work for one guy now.
