When I walked in the ESU Union last night for the camera club dinner, Betty Anderson, a member, caught me in the lobby and handed me a gift. And a card.
Betty gave me a light! One with a neck strap.
After reading Tuesday’s column, “Chasing the Light,” she decided I needed another light. Isn’t that cool?
What a fun gift!
And it’s a dang bright light, too. When they shut off the lights for the slide show, I was prepared with emergency lighting should the need arise.
Thanks, Betty.
Probably many of you fair-goers know Betty Anderson. She’s volunteered hours and hours and hours and hours to the Lyon County 4-H fair.
Here’s the light when it’s lit.
What a bright idea!!!!! And a fun acknowledgment of another great column. You will really be prepared for next year’s Flashlight Tour of Haunted Emporia.
Cheryl, you light up my life!
