Kelley Hunt told me the other day that she was headed up to the Kansas Public Radio studios to record an interview/performance with Bob McWilliams for Sunday afternoon’s “Trail Mix.”

When she performed in ESU’s Albert Taylor Hall on July 3 for Emporia’s Sesquicentennial, she blew the crowd away. Such power is in that woman. She holds nothing back.

Here’s KPR’s press release:

Kelley Hunt brings her powerful bluesy piano stylings, her rich vocals and some terrific original songs to the KPR performance studio for an exclusive solo performance on KPR’s Trail Mix this Sunday at 2 p.m. She’ll visit with Trail Mix host Bob McWilliams about her forthcoming CD, her work in film scoring and her songwriting process. Please join Kansas Public radio for this special live performance.

Again, that’s 2 p.m. tomorrow (Sunday). To listen, tune in at 91.5, Lawrence, 89.7 Emporia or 91.3 Olsburg, Junction City, Manhattan. Or listen online at kpr.ku.edu.
