It’s the first day of KPR’s fall fund drive, shouldn’t they be asking for money?
They’re done raising money for the day.
This morning was KPR’s Power Breakfast – when they set out to raise a day’s worth of funds in 90 minutes.
They met their goal.
In less than an hour.
During KPR’s first-ever Power Breakfast, volunteers answered about 120 calls. KPR listeners pledged more tham $14,000.
Which, with the challenge grants, means more than $27,000 raised.

So, now I’m listening to NPR’s StoryCorps on KPR.
Regular fund-raising continues tomorrow.
P.S. The numbers on this may not be the exact or final numbers…. that’s what I caught on the radio, but the calls were still coming in.
