If you get a chance before September 25, go in King Hall on the east side of the ESU campus and visit the Norman R. Eppink Gallery.

It’s a joint exhibit by Terry Maxwell and Josh Finley.

Maxwell has been a nationally-revered watercolorist for years. Finley, in addition to be an incredibly talented illustrator, plays in the Dewayn Brothers/Loco Macheen bands.

Somewhere along the line, these two artists decided to collaborate.

Each artist has a few pieces of his own work on display and then there’s a wall of collaborative art. They have pieces that one of them started, handed off to the other, and back and forth. These pieces are fun and colorful and lively.

This is a part of one illustration/painting.

Anyway, the gallery is free and open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

It’s great stuff.

  1. I went to Josh Finley’s web page——I love bluegrass music—but didn’t hear any of Josh’s band’s music that was “my kind of bluegrass” (maybe I didn’t listen to enough songs)—-& I see Josh & I both like Split Lip Rayfield!!!!!!!!

  2. How Neat! I love the idea of “Collaboration”. That must be quite an exhibit.
I still want to know which of Dave’s photo’s are winners, so now we need to go up and see Dave’s photo’s and also Terry and Josh’s gallery.
