So… I’m going through my folder of April photos and realized there were a bunch there that I hadn’t shared.
As long as we made the trip, I don’t want to omit these towns and photos.
On the way to Woodbine last month, Dave and I stopped in White City – which had a relatively active business district. Well, for a small town. Population 499. White City is in Morris County, northwest of Council Grove.
Now the building above doesn’t seem so active, but it’s an old gas station and I have a thing for old gas stations. Dave goes after water towers. I like filling stations.
Barber’s Market. I was walking past the front, taking photographs and looked through the window and then saw people looking back at me. It startled me…. I assumed, of course, that everything in town was closed on a Sunday morning. Think again, Cheryl. This store was open.
LOL Cheryl, that was funny. Were you leaning against the window with your hands cupped around your eyes so you could see better? I love reading of your adventures, even the small things like looking through a window of a store you thought was closed.

I didn’t have my face up to the glass – yet. But with the reflection, I couldn’t see the people until I was …close enough. 🙂
