Ah, the beautiful crabapples have burst into bloom. Some are the color of rasperry sherbet. This tree stands in front of ESU’s Memorial Union.

This is a neighbor’s tree that I can see from my front porch. My crabapple tree is just a baby, and it’s not big and mighty like this one.

An army of grape hyacinths is scattered across another neighbor’s yard. She mows around them.

The forsythia and the Bradford pear are dropping their blossoms. In fact, under the Bradford pear trees, the ground is white like snow from the fallen petals.

We’ve had rain off and on for about two weeks now. The temperatures have been in the upper 60s, lower 70s, so they’ve been warm rains.

  1. Great photos of beautiful subjects, Cheryl. You guys are about two weeks or so ahead of us regarding trees and flowers…and yes, it is the most beautiful time of the year.
