And here’s the dogwood in the front yard.

Spring is one of the many things I love about Kansas. Spring is so different here from where I grew up in Long Beach, California. Our Spring out there lasted longer, because the flowers seemed to bloom longer. But there was never that radiant blast of nature like we get here.
I love the Fall best of all. It feels so restful to me, and the earthtones of the trees is relaxing and comforting, the promise that the trees will return, but need to go sleep for a bit.
