Don’t know, but I’ll bet this used to be the high school building. Probably one of those hand-me-down schools.

KC City Market
It’s an International market with flavors from around the world. Seafood.
Passing through Osage
The main drag in Osage City. These photos were taken a couple weeks ago on my trip to Wellsville and Baldwin City. Maybe someone out there knows- I’m guessing Armand’s was the original business in this building. In the background is the former Santa Fe Depot and a barber shop.
From Sunday
Jeff Odell of KVOE interviews Jerry Schrock about his photography on Sunday at Art in the Garden. Nina West, proprietor of Toad Hollow, visits with Carol Marshall. A sloppy Joe from the Camp Wood concession stand. These were good!
Downtime
Sorry, everybody. Today StartLogic, our web host, had a breakdown of some sort and Flyover People was offline much of the day. Argh!
Roundabout
I like to call this little garden area The Roundabout. At Toad Hollow this weekend – Art in the Garden. Be there or be square.
S-l-o-w
My apologies that the Flyover People site is loading so achingly slow. Please don’t give up on us! We will be making changes during the next week that should remedy this problem.
Hypercat
Yellow Cat found a place to rest this evening- on the hens and chicks – in the hypertufa pot that April made. This reminded me of Elvis, another neighborhood cat that wanted to move in with us.
Artichoke Panini
The panini of the month for May at Amanda’s Bakery & Cafe is the spinach pesto and artichoke panini. It was good. I passed on dessert, but the cookies looked yummy.
Dan on TV
Looks like Kansas photographer Dan Coburn will be on TV Sunday morning at 10. WIBW, Channel 13 out of Topeka. I’d better set a reminder so I can watch.
