An August day in McPherson County. I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to looking out on the horizon and seeing leafy green trees instead of gray tree skeletons. Wake up, world!
Spring clouds
Ah, we’re back to spring cloud formations this afternoon. Wild shapes are floating around, different from the flat-line gray clouds that come with winter.
Sunrise contrail
It’s -2 degrees now, but warming into the upper 20s today, the 30s Friday and, if the weathermen are correct, into the 40s on the weekend and 50s on Monday. Happy days of sunshine ahead.
A beautiful day
God smiled on Kansas today. What gorgeous weather. No coats necessary. Happy 150th birthday, dear old Kansas! Southbound on the Kansas Turnpike between Emporia and El Dorado.
Contrail-filled sky
Looking out my front door this morning, I found a criss-cross of contrails. Just beneath that top horizontal one, is a very thin scratch of another contrail, one in progress.
