Some of Dave’s black-and-white photos share a room with a loom at the Gallery at Pioneer Bluffs.

Dave’s exhibit, called “The Working Landscape,” and that of painter Anna Patricia Keller, “Prairie’s Edge,” will be up until June 24 – so there’s plenty of time to drop by Matfield Green for a visit. Here’s how to get there.

Our friends, Tracey and Steve Graham were among those who showed up for the opening on Saturday. Tracey posted this blog entry: A visit to Pioneer Bluffs.

Dave visits with Jim Hoy, cowboy, writer, professor.

Photographers Dennis Wiley, Keith Snell and Herb Hobson talk shop.

Dennis Wiley visits with Ton Haak. Ton and his wife, Antonia “Ans” Zoutenbier are proprietors of The Gallery at Pioneer Bluffs.

In the background between Dennis and Ton is one of Dave’s fabulous photographs of a Kansas sunset.

Dave’s exhibit is called “The Working Landscape” and most of his photos were taken on the Ryan Arndt ranch, some in winter and some on a spring day when they were working cattle.
