An inch of snow is our official total here. So far anyway. It’s still spitting out there, but I think that’s more of a freezing drizzle or freezing mist right now.

We had enough snow to whiten the ground one day in November – a wet snow with huge flakes, but it was a warmish day and the snow disappeared within a couple hours.

This may not last long. The Weather Channel is now saying that we’ll have 52 degrees as our high for tomorrow. We’ll see. Today’s predicted high is 37 and I have my doubts about that.

  1. So eerie for a first real snow this late in the year. But we got around 2 inches here in KC Metro. Naturally the first thing my son says when I picked him up after school was his plans for a snowball fight w/friends. He also wanted to go sledding but not quite enough for that.

But its a pretty snow and not too cold unlike Saturday. But after tomorrow’s warm sun rays hit the earth, it will be all gone.
