Mollie Sultenfuss, co-owner of Pages Books and Coffee in downtown Newton introduced us today. She and the others at Pages were great hosts. I was grateful to be invited and pleased to be treated so kindly.
Beverley Buller talked about and read from her latest book “A Prairie Peter Pan: The Story of Mary White.”
Lana Myers talked about her book, “Prairie Rhythms: The Life and Poetry of May Williams Ward.”
And then I read an essay from my book, “Flyover People,” called “In Between,” about driving through a December night.
Mollie took a picture of us after we read.
A look at the store’s interior.
