If you haven’t already dropped by Studio 11 today – the NEW Studio 11 – you still have time. It’s their one-year anniversary. But they’ve moved to 606 Commercial in downtown Emporia – because they outgrew their old building in a year.

They’re staying open LATE today – they will be open until 9.

The Co-dependents play from 5-7 p.m.

The Skirts play from 7-9.

Follow Studio 11 on facebook.

Kari Crump and Michele Boyce are the owners of Studio 11. What they’ve accomplished in the past year is amazing.

Vivian Parks of LeRoy played guitar and sang for the Grand Opening. She’s a high school student at Iola. Alex Wilson accompanied her on guitar. I loved Vivian’s voice. She did a great version of “Jar of Hearts.”

And in her spare time, Michele bakes cupcakes. Renegade Cupcakes.

So much cool stuff in this store. If you’ve never been in Studio 11, you need to check it out.

It’s a happenin’ place.

I’ll post more pictures of the place later.
