On its way

The clouds tried to crowd out the red sky warning, but the news is all over the airwaves: winter storm approaching. We’ll get a cold rain today and maybe a bit of snow tonight. Western and Central Kansas will get hit harder.

Usually by mid-October, the neighbor’s sycamore leaves have taken over our yard, but they are hanging on this year. Out in the country, most leaves have fallen, but not in town.
