Every year in the Kansas Explorers tent at the Kansas Sampler Festival, explorer members can pick up their annual button. This year’s button celebrates 150 years of Kansas and says “happy birthday, dear Kansas!”

If you love Kansas (and who doesn’t?), you can join the Kansas Explorers Club. It’s a fun and easy club to belong to. After joining ($18.61 for one; $30 for family) you’ll receive fabulous newsletters throughout the year from Marci Penner about things to see, do, eat, explore in Kansas.

There are occasional get-togethers, but no requirements for attendance, no obligations. And once you get to know some of the members of the club, you’ll love to go to these things, because these are great people and they’re all dedicated to the cause of exploring Kansas – as well as supporting rural communities with their presence and with their purchases of gas, food, art, etc., in these small Kansas towns.

And there are buttons for 8 Wonders and other things.
