Hi Cheryl, I worked at this elevator from Feb. 1984 till Aug. 1988. Your pic brings back a lot of old memories. Thanks, Jerry
Olathe used to have a grain elevator — not as big as the Radium elevator, but right downtown, within a block of the county courthouse. I cried the day they knocked it down — it was our last symbol of our importance as an agricultural center. It only exists now in photographs and paintings.
