UPDATE JAN 11 :

TONIGHT’S PRESENTATION HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO SNOWY ROADS AND BELOW-FREEZING WINDCHILLS. THE EVENT WILL BE RESCHEDULED.

On Tuesday evening at 7 p.m., I’m giving a presentation at the Lyon County Historical Museum, talking and showing slides of my Kansas travels. And I’ll likely read an essay or two from Flyover People: Life on the Ground in a Rectangular State.

So – come if you can.

Unless we have a blizzard.

Then it’s probably better to stay home.

The Lyon County Historical Museum is at 118 E. 6th. Parking is behind the building in the library parking lot or at the lot on the southeast corner of 7th and Mechanic (you can walk down the alley to the south).
