Max McCoy will present “Kansas Meteorites” at 7 p.m. today at Tuesday Night at the Museum, 118 E. Sixth Ave.
McCoy is the author of “Strangely Heavy: A True Story of Passion and Rivalry in the Meteorite Fields of Kansas.” (from The Emporia Gazette)
That’d be a great name for a rock band.
Max’s book has no end. The story keeps on going. Just last week a number of meteorites were extracted from northern Lyon County. Lyon County is one of the known strewn fields in Kansas.
