February’s half over, well purt near, so that means it’s gonna be getting warmer. (I promise.) Soon it will be time for outdoor activities.
Today I was contacted by Randy Rasa who introduced me to his incredible website about bicycling in Kansas.
I had no idea there was so much cycling going on in this state. But there is, and Randy seems to be the resident expert on these things.
So – check out his fantastic site: Kansas Cyclist.
(I’m adding a permanent link to the blogroll, so you all can find this site later also.)
I wish I was stronger and could participate in some ride. I can go about town on my tricycle and enjoy that a LOT. But after a bit over a mile, maybe a mile and a half, I’m done. Not too bad for someone who’s been laid up with a bad knee for a couple of years and then had surgery. But it’ll take me a while to go any distance at all.
I don’t think there’s a flat spot in Madison. Even down here where we think of it as “flat”, it’s all on a very slight incline. I can really feel it when I peddle.
