Today’s Market

Overalls. Yep, these are real farmers at the Farmers Market.

Bob Karr’s apples - from The Orchard several miles north of Emporia on K-99. I’ve purchased a couple bags of the Honeycrisp variety - those are the best apples on the planet. Today I got there a little late and the Honeycrisp were gone, but I picked up a bag of Fuji apples.

Oh, no! I missed Barb’s rugs! I love them and they last forever! AND I MISSED the caramel apples. Hope she’s there next week–oh, I have a meeting in Topeka…..and I should have just gone quilting LATER than I already was…….sob, sob….
I keep hearing horror stories about how bad the market is doing, and then I see this and have to wonder what people are thinking.

Last I heard the market was on course to have an all-time high for sales. This was many weeks ago.
I love the Farmer’s Market and I think it just keeps getting better and better!
