The Dark

Remember not too long ago when it was still light outside at 9:00 p.m.?
Those days are gone. I just stepped outside into the dark darkness of 9 p.m. to take a picture of the dark to show you just how dark it is and I found a full moon out there. By golly, I’m just not attuned to the moon these days.
Anyway, here ya go, a picture of the dark. And the moon.

I think I heard that there will be a total eclipse of the moon around 4:00-6:00 a.m.
But, boy, that moon is bright tonight!!
I talked to a coworker this morning who saw the eclipse at 4:30 this morning.
I heard the voices of my neighbors out in their driveway at 6 a.m. Since they’re not morning people, I wondered what was going on. I peeked out the window and they were looking and pointing toward the western sky. Finally, I recalled hearing about the eclipse. But I didn’t get up and go outside.
Hubby’s alarm goes off at 4:30 AM each morning—–& we took a look together at the eclipse before I went back to bed & he went to work!
And he looked up into the sky at the full moon, and he howled at that full moon, and in the blink of an eye he felt so much better he broke into a little dance…and the neighbors saw the man dancing in the moonlight at midnight, but their reaction and thoughts were not recorded for posterity.
(:+))!!
Did you all see the moon tonight?? It was a beautiful pinkish color–and luminous–georgeous! Last night it was golden…..so how does it turn pink? (I know there’s a good explanation for that…)
