PrattTown

Milt from Pratt has been promoting his town online and has just switched over to a new blog format: www.pratttown.com.
He calls it: A Citizen Media Center For Pratt, Kansas USA.
I think that’s a cool idea - every town should have an online place to go for local information, history, events, conversations, etc.

What a positive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Isn’t anyone going to coment on the twin water towers??
What a great sense of municipal humor!!
I’m running hot and cold on the humor, Ray.
OH, that’s neat. I like that a lot.
Now that I have built it, let’s see if they (the citizens) will come! In some ways this site is my “Field of Dreams”. The old “InPratt” effort was quite a disappointment for the original group that worked on it, because of lack of participation by locals, but maybe I will have a better response with this new simplified “team blog” inspired by FlyOverPeople.
Thanks for the example and thanks for spreading the word about the new website and don’t forget the “www” in front of “pratt.com”. Nice pic of our twin towers by the way…
Whoops! Pardon my mistake as I meant “www” in front of “pratttown.com”
Good luck with your site, Milt. Hope you and your fellow Pratt folks have as much fun with it as we have with FOP. Haven’t been TO Pratt much but been THRU Pratt on 54 alot!
