Peking Express

A few Flyover friends met for lunch at the newly-opened Peking Express on E. 12th in Emporia today. And I forgot to take a photo of my meal! Well, the food was served on Styrofoam, so that made it less photogenic anyway. I had the shrimp and vegetables, crab rangoon and fried rice. The meal was good, but could’ve used a bit more flavor I think.
It was so fun to see everyone. I forgot to show off my Mary Jane Crocs. LOL
My food was good and I’ll likely order that again. It was sweet and sour shrimp. I had a crab rangoon and fried rice too. When I finished the shrimp. there was enough sauce that I moved the rice into the sauce and that was yummy.
It was a bit difficult to cut the battered shrimp with a plastic knife and fork, but I did fine.
