Mexican Supper

This evening is the Mexican Supper, a fund-raising event for Sacred Heart School. It’s held at the Sacred Heart Parish Center. They made 8,500 tacos for the dinner. Most of the meals are to-go, but some people stay and eat.

Two deep-fried tacos, rice, chips and cheese. And a dessert and tea or water. I had a piece of apple pie, Dave had cheesecake with blueberry topping.

The dinner started at 4:30, but we sailed through the line at about 4:20. When we left, the dining room was beginning to fill up.

  1. Gosh, we haven’t had that yearly dinner since we moved to Madison. I miss Sacred Heart.
