Yes it is. I hadn’t thought of it that way but you are right.
I forgot a barrette one day to hold my bangs back, used a paper clip…it almost worked better than a barrette.
Such versatility…gotta love it.
Okay, when I read this, I reached over and picked up a paper clip and tried using it as a barrett. I couldn’t make it work. Probably too small. So, I grabbed a huge one, like 3″ long. Couldn’t get that to work either. I don’t have any inbetween sizes.
I think stapling would be easier.

It took a couple tries to get it right, and I don’t have very thick bangs but it definitely did the trick for a little while. The assistant I had a few months ago even caught on to it too. We were the paperclip girls. lol
