March: Hear Me Roar

snow.jpg

A brush of snow overnight. We had a few minutes of hard hail last evening, thunder, rain, wind. Yesterday was in the 70s, this morning: snow, fog, 32 degrees.

But it’s March, spring. We’ve made it through the tunnel of winter.

  1. “Tunnel of winter”, as in claustrophobia, cabin fever tunnel of winter? I hear ya.

  2. We had some good wind last night, and I assume a tad bit of rain, no snow or hail that I’m aware of. The back porch looks ever so slightly damp is all. And it’s still brown out across the land, in our neck of the woods.

  3. I thought the weather was weird, even for Kansas! Yesterday, in the 70’s and sunny–I even ran the AC on my way back from Americus, and then heard the RAIN when we were in church. After I was home, it hailed! At first it sounded like someone was throwing rocks on our roof and then we really had HAIL! This morning is snow! ….what have we missed here?
When I went outside this morning there were little pieces of colored glass everywhere…….ah, my DS hasn’t taken down the Christmas lights yet…..

  4. March: “In like a lion, out like a lamb,” was the way I always heard it back when, and now. Sounds like you all got the “lion” part.
It’s rainy/wet here today, so who knows what the rest of the month here will be like…maybe the weather people do ???

  5. I have to show the kids your picture. I told them to look out the window when they got up yesterday, but the snow was already gone. They were insisting that I dreamed it.
