help a soldier
Help out the wounded soldiers. Send ‘em a box of freezer pops. Or other goodies.

Pick up a flat rate box (boxes are free) from the Post Office. You can put anything that will fit into the box (well, except for contraband and stuff) and mail it anywhere in the world for $8.95.
