Eastside Park Update

I drove past the shelter house last night. The wooden roof (ceiling) looks to be completed.

Looks very good, very classy. Once underneath is completed it will look very inviting. With those trees as a backdrop, that looks wonderful. Someone was thinking on their feet when they did all of that.
The wood decking gets a standing-seam metal roof system soon.
A filigree frieze like the upper gable goes around under the lower roof section.
I went by the shelter tonight. Four of the six top roof facets are covered with the metal roofing. It is an iron oxide red.
Oh, that’s the roof I want to put on my own house. I like that. This will be one very nice park. People need things like that, families. It’s good!
I don’t know, what do you think?
There is a weird little cupola on top of the shelter. I think it distracts.
With out the cupola it would look like a grass hut wouldn’t it???????
