Courthouse, Ohio-style
You know how I am about courthouses…
Well, anyway, apparently we don’t grow courthouses like they do in Ohio.
New York Joe, of What About the Plastic Animals fame, (who has actually come to Kansas - visited Great Bend and Pawnee Rock even) has posted a photo of the way-cool Wood County Courthouse in Bowling Green.

Cheryl - Thanks for your blog, I enjoy reading it and keeping in touch with my hometown. Of course I’m always a Kansan, but here in Missouri there are some fantastic courthouses. My favorite is down in the southeast corner of the state in Carter County. It’s built with native cobblestones: http://www.missourimemories.com/img/full_size/CARTER-COUNTY-COURTHOUSE.jpg
Wow, that’s an interesting courthouse. All nubby.
Welcome, NancyAnn!
Can you imagine having to go to court in a court house like that? One would feel like if they lost thier case, they may be going to the dungeon in the basement. Makes you wonder if there used to be a moat.
