Chevrolet

An old Chevrolet added atmosphere to the re-opening of the Granada Theatre on Friday evening.
I don’t know the year of the Chevy. If you know, feel free to share that information with us all.

The car is an opportunity auto. The Emporia Granada Theatre Alliance is selling chances to win the vehicle. Proceeds support the theatre. I didn’t get the year either.
Ooooh. Wow, that’s quite a donation by whoever owns the car!
If Dave and I win the trip to Vegas, would we be lucky enough to win the car, too?
You could be on a streak - a winning streak.
I think chances are $20.
I’m not too sure but if I had to make a guess, I’d call it a 1948. It’s definitely pre 1950.
I might have to take a chance on it. Who do I see about that?
My mom thinks it may be a 1942 Chevy.
The car is probably a ‘41 or a ‘42. It may also be a “‘45″ or “‘46′. When the auto industry retooled for war in early 1942, there were parts and pieces for cars that could not be built. The inventory was stored until after the war when it was used to build cars until the industry could again retool and also come up with new designs.
