I started first grade in that school & spent all eight years of grade school there——— I graduated from CCCHS high school with a class of 36 students—–& 16 of us started in the first grade together & spend all 12 years together as a “family” unit!
We sat in alphabetical order MOST of those years——-so I sat between & Joe (a terrific guy who grew up on a pig farm) & Lyle (a spoiled doctor’s son) for 12 years!
Now that is some kind of school house. I’ll bet the people who built the court house had something to do with this building, too.
Please tell us more about the history, Flips.
