ESU’s new front door

January 5th, 2012 at 1:53 pm

I was at the ESU Union this morning. The interior is still in the remodeling process, but the east side has been done for awhile and it looks marvelous. And it was such a clean (and warm) day for a photo.

Plumb Hall

November 17th, 2010 at 7:44 am

I took some photos of EUS’s Plumb Hall a couple of weeks ago when I was there to speak to a class. It was definitely fall then. Today, I think we’re doing the switchover to winter.

Tonight one of our favorite people – Eleanor Browning – was honored as one of seven Kansas Master Teachers.  It was certainly no surprise when her name was announced a month or so ago – because if you’ve ever heard her talk about teaching, you know how much she loves those kids. Ele is a [...]

October 21st, 2009 at 10:38 am

Sixty and counting.  Yes, those are bags of Cheez-its and Skittles hanging from the ceiling along with the balloons. He likes Cheez-its because they don’t have that dust on them, don’t leave your fingers in a mess. (Yeah, I hate that, too.) His co-workers decorated his office area in the Memorial Union at ESU.

Don Coldsmith

June 12th, 2009 at 6:41 am

Don Coldsmith was one of the 30-some authors who signed books at Town Crier’s Author Extravaganza last week. Don has sold millions of books (and I exaggerate not). Not only is he a prolific writer (he’s published at least 40 books), his writings have been translated and sold around the world. And he’s written them [...]
