This Sunday, Kansas Day, there will be an Open House a the William Allen White House in Emporia. The event will be to celebrate Kansas Day and remember William Allen White who died on Kansas Day in 1944.
Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the house – docents will be on hand to answer questions.  Admission is free but donations will be welcome.
There will be adult and children scavenger hunts through the house and Kansas Trivia games and cookie decorating in the Visitor’s Center.
Door Prizes will be awarded.  There will be a $50 shop Emporia Gift certificate as top prize and Jerilynn Henrikson and Beverley Buller are donating autographed copies of their books.  Refreshments will be served.
