For years I’ve noticed these melted mini-blinds hanging in a south-facing window of a downtown Emporia building. Had my camera handy yesterday on my walk.

In the adjacent window, the blinds aren’t melty, but they are broken. And, inexplicably, there’s a photo of a clock behind in the broken space.

  1. You know, that is a string up there in the warped blind picture, huh? At first I thought it was a scribbled signature somehow. But it must be a string. Maybe it is God’s Art signature?

    Wonderful Pictures Chery, just wonderful.

  2. It is one of those sights that are interesting and makes you pause to look at but at the same time, makes you wonder why someone doesn’t go up there and take them down and hang something more inviting and picturesque. However, you did a great job capturing the scene, Cheryl.

Oh you know, I think you are right Cheryl. I was looking at the one or two stopping points as where the string went in between the blinds. But no, you are right, it is on the window itself. Didn’t even think of that!
