St. Mark’s Lutheran Church held their annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday. We went to pick up some bierocks, but there were dozens of beautiful cookies for sale. I was good and walked on by.
I almost succumbed to the cupcake rack. Oh, I do love me a good cupcake.
The cupcakes were delicious!!! (but then, anything chocolate is delicious!)
The youth group (and parents) made the bierocks, but they don’t put any sausage or cheese in them. They looked like the ones my mom used to make. (I like them better with hamburger AND sausage and cheese–cabbage & onion, too, of course.) I made a “back-up” batch (because we sold out last year and people would come in asking for bierocks) and was only going to sell them when the others were gone, but some lady came in and wasn’t going to buy any if they didn’t have cheese, so I sold her mine–she bought them all–and I only charged $3 for one–since I’m NOT a youth– instead of the $4. they’re good with a little mustard…
You have more self control that I would have with all those beautiful cookies.
